Palm Springs Public Library - Discover, Enrich, Enjoy, Connect! 1 April 2008, Tuesday Lecture: 'Wind Energy 101' Time: 6:30pm Location: The Learning Center 'Wind Energy 101' - a repeat - at the Palm Springs Library. Mark Farley is back by popular demand; this lecture is a repeat of the same lecture presented earlier in the season. The program will begin at 6:30pm in The Learning Center (TLC), seating is limited. Mark Farley is a current member of the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens, Joshua Tree National Park Association, the Mount Kenya Wildlife Conservancy, Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics, and the Mountain Lion Foundation. Mark is a Certified Master Trainer for the Tread Lightly! Organization. He shares the Tread Lightly! Principles with others concerned about impacts on the environment. Mark speaks around the state on Eco-tourism and his hobbies include hiking, rafting, traveling, and exploring. He has lived extensively throughout Mexico but his true favorite place is Kenya.
