Summer Reading Fun Fest Nature Lecture: "Amazing Desert Insects"

The Palm Springs Public Library, working with the Desert Institute at Joshua Tree National Park, presents "Amazing Desert Insects" with speaker Kurt Leuschner, M.S. at 6:30 p.m. in The Learning Center (TLC), seating is limited.

Learn about the lives of the largest group of animals in the world. Leuschner will discuss these fascinating creatures through insect anatomy, survival traits, habitats, and behaviors. Listeners will learn to identify and distinguish different interesting insects and arthropods in collections and then practice their skills on there own. The amazing world of insects awaits you!
