Summer Reading Fun Fest Nature Lecture "Be Fruitful and Multiply - Insect Lifecycles"

The Palm Springs Public Library, working with the Desert Institute at Joshua Tree National Park, presents "Be Fruitful and Multiply - Insect Lifecycles" with speaker Stefanie Ritter at 3:00 p.m. in The Learning Center (TLC), seating is limited.

There is more to insect lifecycles than meets the eye; they are as diverse and interesting as the insects are themselves. Carnivorous children turning into vegetarian adults; children bigger than their parents, being orphaned as an egg, living for seventeen years underground, beheaded fathers, perfumed mothers - everything is possible.
