Palm Springs Public Library - Discover, Enrich, Enjoy, Connect! 7 October 2008, Tuesday Third Annual Pumpkin decorating contest Location: Youth Room - Story Room Third Annual Pumpkin decorating contest for all ages at the Palm Springs Public Library. During the month of October the public is invited to bring in a decorated, not carved, pumpkin of any size, shape or color that has been decorated with paint, markers, fabric, or any other material you wish into the Palm Springs Public Library for display. The pumpkins will be on display during the month in the Youth department. To be part of the contest turn in your decorated pumpkin no later than Oct. 25th at 5:00 p.m. Winners will be announced at the program on Mon. Oct. 27th at 6:00 p.m. For more information call the Youth Department at 323-8199. Early Learning with Families (ELF) Time: 6:00pm ELF Night at the Library serves families with children from birth to age five (5). The program supports parents and caregivers in their role as their children's first teacher, creating an opportunity for families to share time and learn together.
