Come to the Library for Story time. Many options are offered to meet the needs of your family. BABIES & BOOKS is a new story time just for parents/care givers and for their babies who are not yet walking, on WEDNESDAYS from 10:00-11:00 a.m. READ-TO-ME is a time for toddlers who are walking, up to age 3, on THURSDAYS from 10:00-11:00 a.m. There will be stories and songs and playtime with other children. For those BUSY-FINGERS, children ages 3 - 5 years old, they will enjoy stories and crafts just for them on THURSDAYS from 11:00 to 11:50 a.m. Join us on Saturdays from 2:00-3:00 p.m. for SUPER SATURDAY STORIES, where the whole family is welcome. Teen Read Week Location: Teen Zone October 13th thru the 18th Its Teen Read Week at the Palm Springs Public Library. All Tweens and Teens are invited to join in the fun during this week of October. "Books with Bite" is the theme and there will be fun activities and a chance to win cool prizes. Earn tickets to enter into the drawing for a $50 gift certificate by completing a Teen Survey and attending the "Fang Feast" event on Sat. Oct.18th. Third Annual Pumpkin decorating contest Location: Youth Room - Story Room Third Annual Pumpkin decorating contest for all ages at the Palm Springs Public Library. During the month of October the public is invited to bring in a decorated, not carved, pumpkin of any size, shape or color that has been decorated with paint, markers, fabric, or any other material you wish into the Palm Springs Public Library for display. The pumpkins will be on display during the month in the Youth department. To be part of the contest turn in your decorated pumpkin no later than Oct. 25th at 5:00 p.m. Winners will be announced at the program on Mon.
